Since ancient times, all the different peoples of the world have been inspired by the wonders of nature they encountered. We, at AUROBOREA, get our information there too!
We created three different jewelry sections, celebrating three different natural wonders: the AURORA BOREALIS section, where you can find jewels reminiscent of the dancing wraiths and rippling curtains of the Northern Lights.
Most of the stones we use in this section have to be moved in different kinds of light to bring out their full beauty. The kind of stones we mean, are for instance moonstone, labradorite, iolite, opal and so on.
Our JUNGLE MOUNTAIN section, where you can find jewels that will remind you of the dense green canopies of the world's forests and jungles; of the numerous animals living underneath these canopies; of quiet streams and thundering waterfalls and of dangerous volcanoes.
The stones in this section are for instance: tiger's eye, sunstone, carnelian and so on.
And last, but not least there is our OCEAN CAVE section, where the jewels are adorned with what we call the "water-and-waves" stones: for instance lace agate, abalone and paua, lapis et cetera.
We will be striving hard to use only natural materials: stones, shell, bone, wood and so on. Therefore, we will not be using new glass or crystal, but recycled, "vintage" glass and our unique carefully designed jewelry will be made with genuine, lovingly selected and unique stones. Our pieces will, more often than not, be quite a-symmetrical too.
Also, we will be giving you the healing- and other extra qualities of the stones we use in our sections, this could be important too. We truly hope you will enjoy your stay at our shop, and that you will visit us many times!
